Information NestWork Collects
NestWork may collect and store the information you enter or generate in the app, including:
- Account information, such as email address, display name, password authentication records, and selected avatar.
- Household information, such as household name, invite code, member names, roles, and managed child profiles created by a parent or household owner.
- App content, such as rooms, chores, assignments, due dates, completion history, shopping list items, habits, points, badges, and leaderboard activity.
- Notification information, such as notification preferences and device tokens needed to send push notifications.
- Support information you choose to send through the bug report form, such as a description, optional email address, and optional screenshot.
How That Information Is Used
NestWork uses this information to run the app and provide the features you ask it to provide, including:
- Creating and managing your account and household.
- Showing household members the chores, shopping items, points, badges, and profile information they are allowed to see.
- Keeping personal habits private to the person who created them.
- Sending app notifications for assignments and due chores when notifications are enabled.
- Providing support, debugging problems, preventing abuse, and keeping the service reliable.
What NestWork Does Not Do
- NestWork does not sell your personal information.
- NestWork does not use advertising networks.
- NestWork does not track your location.
- NestWork does not create public profiles.
- NestWork does not include public social sharing or direct messaging.
- NestWork does not require photo proof for completed chores.
Children And Managed Members
NestWork is designed for household use, including families. A parent or household owner may create managed child profiles that do not have their own login. Managed profiles are used inside the household for assignments, chores, points, badges, and participation.
Service Providers
NestWork uses service providers to operate the app and website, including cloud database, authentication, hosting, email, form, and push notification infrastructure. These services process data only as needed to provide NestWork's functionality.
Data Retention And Account Deletion
NestWork keeps information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain household records, support security, and satisfy operational needs. You can request account deletion from inside the app. When an account is deleted, NestWork removes or disconnects personal account data according to the app's account deletion flow.
